Renzo Buttazzo has always been ecstatic by the materiality of his land and creates unique and unrepeatable forms, where the material becomes soft and gentle. He is able to delicately pass from design to sculpture, telling the story of the forms of nature, in its silent movements linked to his land.
This is not what makes his figure so innovative though, but rather his ability to blend poetry and design, natural and technological, until reaching the perfection of balance.
His creations, produced in limited edition, can be reproduced in specific sizes to suit all kinds of living requirements. A forerunner of a new way of interpreting stone, he has succeeded over the years in giving a new face to the furnishing accessory. His works range from sculptures to luminous bodies, from furniture to sculptural walls, contributing to improving the possibilities of using this material.
He has received numerous awards and collaborations in Italy and abroad, which have helped define him as one of the most innovative artists in the field of working with stone materials.
He collaborates with architects, gallery owners and interior designers, creating works that furnish homes and charming resorts, and numerous collectors own them, as evidenced by the numerous publications in national and foreign magazines and television formats.
He now believes that the time has come to offer emotions that have been forgotten in this technologically overcrowded world, "...it is important that you know the breath of stone in order to be able to listen to it...", creating an open workshop where he can transmit these sensations
Balance - lightness - essentiality - softness - these are the basic lines of the programme.
